LeBron James references the 'viral plane lady' while highlighting his impressive 40-point performance in the Lakers' recent victory.
LeBron James celebrated his 40-point performance in the Los Angeles Lakers' 129-120 win against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday. In a playful move, the Lakers superstar shared a video featuring Tiffany Gomas, also known as the "viral plane lady" or "crazy plane lady," during her infamous rant earlier this year. Gomas, in the midst of her passionate outburst, points to a photo of James in the plane aisle, exclaiming, "this motherf---er back there is not real."
"Somebody come get her ASAP! She trying to blow my damn cover!" James humorously captioned the post.
In Saturday night's impressive victory, James showcased his skills with a 13-of-20 shooting performance, including five 3-pointers. Alongside his scoring, he contributed seven rebounds, seven assists, and two blocks. Notably, James scored 11 of his 40 points in the final 4:29 of the game, making a significant impact in the closing moments.
"It's always a good feeling to know I can go out and still make game-winning plays, affect the game in multiple ways, and close out a game in the fourth quarter when our team needed it, especially when they started making a run," James expressed.
In addition to James' standout performance, the Lakers, as a team, shot an impressive 52.2% from the field. Anthony Davis contributed significantly with 26 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists, while Rui Hachimura scored 21 points. The collective effort underscored the team's effectiveness on both ends of the court.
