The FBI and Denver Police are investigating threats against Colorado judges who prevented Trump from being on the state's ballots

The FBI and Denver police are investigating threats against Colorado Supreme Court justices who barred Trump from the state's 2024 ballots. An analysis by Advance Democracy revealed alarming online rhetoric from Trump supporters, targeting justices and Democrats. Pro-Trump forums included calls to disclose judges' personal information, with some posts advocating violence, including shootings, hangings, and bombings. Disturbingly, specific threats against the justices and their families, such as beheadings and harm to children, were found in these online discussions, prompting law enforcement intervention.

Respondents on Trump's Truth Social platform have been echoing comparable rhetoric in direct replies to his posts. The FBI, acknowledging the situation, stated to Axios that it is in collaboration with local law enforcement.

The agency emphasized its commitment to actively investigate any threats or instances of violence, particularly those stemming from individuals using extremist views to rationalize their actions. The FBI affirmed its dedication to pursuing investigations irrespective of the motivation behind such behaviors, as reported by the outlet.
